They do run small. My daughter is 5'6 and only weighs 100 pounds, but the medium fit her perfectly. She usually takes a size 0 in pants. They work, though! She loves them, too. They are perfect for days when you think you might start or you think you are done. They are also good for back up. They do not have an absorbent layer so not good to wear for just free bleeding on heavy days. They are not bulky or noisy. They are comfy and the fabric is really soft. We highly recommend them. They even send a free pair of their regular undies! Don't put them in the dryer!

Super soft, the extra protection layer goes all the way up on both front and back. Not noisy at all. Sizing is just a tad off, it's roomier than anticipated, not enough to size down though. Like the boy short style. Will be using this as back up to my Lena cup. Definitely not frumpy. Very happy with my purchase.

I've used period panties for quite some time now. I've bought from THINX. ....THINX has really expensive panties and after all the scandal with the original owner, I didn't want to support that company anymore. So I hopped on Amazon and found these! Lemme tell you, they are comfy and work just as well, if not better for half the price. Not TMI, but ladies, I've had a kid and suffer from really bad periods. So when I say they work, they're great. I like to use them as I think I'm going to get my period (and if I start, its OK...they hold up!) and when I wear my period cup. I never have to fret about having a 'leak' problem. EVER. No spotting problems for me! Had to wait for them to come in because they sold out. :) So glad I found these! Will definitely be buying more in the future.

First of all I’m going to try and be specific as possible so turn back now if you don’t want TMI. TL;DR buy these now and have the best period of your life.I have tried pretty much every period product out there from all types/makes/formulation of tampons, pads, cups, and finally got around to trying “period panties”. I’ve had a period for more moons than I care to think about and I’ve spent a lot of time trying to manage it and the symptoms/issues/challenges that come along with it. For the last two decades or so I’ve had a very heavy flow with cramps of varying intensity, sometimes lasting up to 7 days. Heavy to the point where tampons were soaked within minutes at times and the “backup” heavy duty top-shelf pad was soaked not too long after that. Medically, nothing was “wrong” with me. Just born lucky I guess. After years of research, I started branching off from pads/tampons to cups of various sorts with a pad for backup. I liked the fact that I wasn’t filling the landfills with countless tampon TL;DR is buy these now and have the best period of your life.wrappers/applicators, but despite reports of being champions at managing heavy flows, I was still getting cup leakage after less than 30 minutes in some cases. Also, my cramps got worse. Also also, cups smell. I do not smell. No medical issues. But cups stink. Despite proper cup hygiene maintenance. Despite me having a tearful appointment with my gynecologist because I was sure I had some kind of vaginal disease (I didn’t). So I for a time I used tampons, cups, and pads as needs/comfort demanded. Fast forward to me first learning about period panties. I was intrigued, but the brands were so expensive. I realized the cost effectiveness over time, but the initial investment was more than my penny-pincher heart could endure. Enter Bambody. I needed new underwear anyway, so I figured even if they don’t work out, I’d at least have some nice black “period drawers”. Confession: I am in love with these underwear. Feel soft on my skin, no pinching or riding up, don’t make me feel sweaty or hot even in the summer heat and best of all THEY WORK! That’s right. No leaks, no odor, wash great, so cost effective. I haven’t had to buy any disposable products since I purchased these gems. Also, could be coincidence, but I have had a significant reduction in flow and cramps. But fear not. Even on the first few days of switching to Bambody it handled my super flow with no problem. I think they have figured out a way to open an inter-dimensional portal in the crotch of these because I honestly don’t know where it all went. I have never had to change underwear during the day. They truly last me a full 24 hours. I thought I wasn’t going to like them because I HATE the feel of a pad. Any pad. Even the fancy foam kind. These underwear are nothing like that. I never feel soggy and there’s no noise, no heat retention, and no worry about something shifting out of place. I could go on but I have other things to do today.

I LOVE this underwear!! Do not confuse this underwear with the “high absorbency” Bambody underwear. This is the “Leak Proof” kind so it is only to be used as backup to a menstrual cup or tampon. It is NOT for use without other period products. I intentionally got this to catch any leaks I may get at night when using my menstrual cup (which I love too, definitely get one!). This underwear ROCKS!! It is extremely comfortable, soft, and feels like regular underwear. The fit is amazing and the waistband is so comfortable I wish my actual underwear were this comfy. I have an extremely heavy flow and so I exceed my cup’s capacity at night and this underwear catches everything! Even up the back and has full front coverage too. LOVE IT. If you are looking for a way to provide backup for a tampon or cup but hate the feeling of pads then this is the underwear for you. The price is great and a lot more affordable than other brands and the quality is HIGH. I’m totally getting 3 more pairs. My diaper days are over and I’m THRILLED.

I was very interested in period panties and have been looking for some for quite a while, as a pad user it simply gets too hot and humid down there during heavy flow days, and I always worry about leaking! I have done some extensive research and found out that most of the "period panties" in the US market are averaging about $30 - $35 per underwear, and you'd have to replace them about every 2-3 years base on wear. If we go by that math, it's almost the same price if not more expensive to buy period panties (a box/bag of pads it's about $4/15pads in average, $4 x 12 month = $48/year, if you add liners and whatnot thats probably going to be around $60 the most, and this is not counting wholesale or discounts/coupons; say you need 5 panties every 3 years, if we use the average of $30, that's $150 every 3 years, pads comes out to be $120 every 3 years ).These are the first sets that I was comfortable enough to try, and after reading previous reviews, I bought 1 to start. I agree there is something funky going on with the sizing, but these has gotta be the most comfortable underwear I have ever wore in my life! They are super soft and smooth, very breathable. I wore it on my last two days of the cycle where I was super light and spotting, and it worked wonderfully! And since it's not leaking and did not feel wet, I actually forgot I was still on my period! I did however on the very last day of my cycle have some discharge/clots, and I was able to wipe that off with toilet paper in one try!Overall very pleased with the performance of this underwear, and since they are so comfortable, I am buying more and might just start wearing them on the regular!

I was extremely skeptical of these but since I am prone to bikini bumps from wearing pads I looked into thinx panties and wound up reading a review for these (3 for the price of 1) and from what I’ve heard they’re better. I decided the best time to try them was at night, I have a thick flow so pads don’t absorb well.. These did and actually felt dry. It even lasted through morning Pilates and from what I can tell there was no leaking. I hand washed them in the shower that morning and changed into a new pair for the day with a tampon because I’m too scared to test it at work but I trusted wearing my tampon for 5 hours instead of 3. My flow is lighter now and I’ve had no leakage without extra protection. Also really glad I sized up, I’m typically a small in Victoria Secret and a Medium in these fit nice with little to no panty lines. If you want to be really comfortable or have wider hips or a booty 2 sizes up might be best. They are almost boy short style and are super soft/breathable and doesn’t make any awkward sounds like pads do. I also don’t have issues with wedgies like I do with normal underwear and anyone who’s had a pad wedgie knows it’s the worst!I’d definitely suggest giving them a try and testing them at night.

As someone with a heavy period, even the extra long pads are not enough when I'm asleep and laying down. For long time I doubled down using 2 pads when I went to bed. I was so sick of it; it was ridiculous.I first heard of an alternative period panty brand that was more expensive, but it didn't take me long to find these. These are more reasonably priced and do an excellent job. I no longer have to worry about bleeding through my bottoms and on the bed when I go to sleep. I wear it with a pad, but these has given me so much peace of mind and is one of the best investments I've ever made. The fit is a little smaller and leaves me with a bit of a muffin top, but they are still comfortable to wear. I've had them for about a year and they're still going strong. I usually let them air dry after washing to help them last longer. I would definitely recommend getting these if you are in a similar situation!

TMI ahead, but this is the info I would want for this specific product! Ordered for my teenage daughter who lives in fear of leaks. She tested them in water multiple times- tub to start, and pool after, under some swim shorts. No leaks whatsoever. She can wear without a pad or anything else and wear most all day before needing a change. No leaks. I decided to try a pair myself. I have a heavy flow and usually need a backup pad with a tampon and frequent changes. I have worn today on my heaviest flow day in place of a backup pad and purposely delayed changing the tampon to see how it could handle the overflow. I wore for several hours and was amazed at how much they absorbed. I could tell it was time for a change only when I started to feel some dampness. Until then, they feel soft and dry. And even when “full”, no leaks whatsoever. The undies themselves are super soft and comfy and fit as expected. They do fit below the waist, which I don’t normally enjoy. But they are secure as well as soft and I didn’t mind at all. I’m so glad I decided to try these. They work better than expected and are much more affordable than other brands.

So, I have been using these undies in conjunction with a period cup. I have only had one leakage issue and I think it was my fault cause my cup wasn't in properly. I haven't leaked since, even when "free bleeding" on my last day. Literally for the price, they are my favorite. I have five pairs now including the bikini style. I recommend them to all my friends because I literally don't worry if I am going to have an accident out of the house, lounging, or sleeping and they shouldn't have to either. Seriously, periods are a lot better with cups and these period undies.Side note: they do cause some panty lines but honestly I don't mind them. They also just fit great. I am a medium in Aerie undies and I got a medium in these and they fit perfectly fine. I can see where people were saying they run a little small but I like it tighter because it makes me feel more secure than if they were loose.
